The best films from Central Europe compete for the FÜNF SEEN FILMPREIS (Five Lakes Film Prize). These are films that dare to stray from the beaten path of conventional narrative cinema and find their own way. All films in this section testify to the poetic and artistic power of their filmmakers and represent a cinema of images and the future.
The prize is endowed with €5,000 and is donated by the Starnberg District Office. A jury decides on the winning film.
